Eggs and Seeds

Little eggs make little babies,
Little seeds make little trees
And little babies grow into bigger babies
And eventually into adults
As little seeds grow into great oaks,
And they become old folks
As one or none
They grow parallel
Ageing from young to old,
A futile reflection
Of our bare feet.
