Of golden age
And posture
A clarity defined her face,
A clarity that can only be bought
But such a gentle thing
I fear to think of sedation.
Her head is tilted
Modestly
Like a kitten,
Eyes glance slowly across
The circus, thudding about the city.
A life I can only imagine
Stepped gently
Across ivory continents.
