The Sun dies lonely
In its cold seat in the sky
It tires, forgets, then dies
Space turns thick and empty
The weary stars crackle in quiet fear
While the moon searches the vacant heavens
And gently, one by one
Celestial mass crumbles to dust
Their slow corpses haunting the ink black skies
And yet the flicker
