Children of a Broken Home
We are all children of a broken home
We live in strife, we grunt, we moan
"This is mine, he has more than me!"
Can we ever live in harmony?
Our fathers are remote they come from above
But we are united under one mother's love
We are brothers and sisters, why can't we join hands?
And sing and dance throughout the lands
Our fathers are different, we don't look the same
Is that any reason to kill and maim?
To live in freedom is our birthright
Under one mother's love we should all unite
We have one mother and it is plain
To carefully nurture her should be our aim
Her resources are vast but so is our greed
Who will change and take the lead?
One day we will know if its not too late
How to give and share not take and hate
To stop the fighting and do what's right
Under mother earth's love let us all unite
