Life's Repetition
So still and silent in the depths space
The orbs hang suspended, so full of grace
The stars like diamonds sparkle above
The darkness hugs like a magician's black glove
Out in the universe something is stirring
A comet is coming its journey unfurling
A marriage of worlds is about to begin
As the sperm like sphere blasts its way in
To the core of the planet, an ovum so ripe
The stars bear witness to the conception of life
The globe now fertile the chemistry at work
We her children are born to earth
Is the universe a mystery or could it all be
The repetition of life, eternally?
