I met you it seems but a lifetime ago
Back then we were strangers on the open road
Filled with emotions, with so much to give
Avoiding the controversial life the majority live

Running along the great walks of life
We were always searching for a path
Trying to avoid fear, looking for a 'laugh'

We only wanted to be what we wanted to be
To do the things that we wanted to do
Living our lives to the full, we did it differently
And I hold no regrets because I did it with you
