I wish I could say
I will love you forever
But forever is a very long time
And people change
Will we forever
Be as we are
Will I still love you
Twenty years from now
When I’ve seen you
Across the breakfast table
Time and time again
Nothing changing
And I am beginning to wish they had
As there are things about you
I am not so fond of now
Nor was I before, but-
I put up with them
Because I loved you
With new eyes
Does love always stand
The test of time
Of this I am not sure
So shall I say
I will love you forever
And risk a lie
Or shall I say
I will love you
With all of my heart and
Hope that forever comes
Before the end of my love

I think this piece can speak to a lot of people and you articulated it in such a poetic way.

Ahh, LGM. The strangeness of
Ahh, LGM.
The strangeness of love.
"...And people change..."
I liked that line for some reason.
