To Send You Away

To send you away
Would be to take the stars
From the sky
Leaving the firmament dark
Diminishing its beauty
Only shadows remaining
To send you away
Would be to take the waters
From the sea
Leaving it empty
Draining its depths
Where beauty once flourished
To send you away
Would be to take the heat
From the sun
Leaving a cold orb
Stealing the warmth
In which I would bask
To send you away
Would be to take the breath
From my body
Leaving me without love
Without meaning
Without you
