Times of My Life

When I am twenty one
Life is going to be fun
The world- my oyster
Won’t live in a cloister
When I am twenty one
When I am thirty three
Life will go merrily
Know where I’m going
Won’t be slowing
When I am thirty three
When I am forty four
Life’s cares appear at my door
It’s not quite so fun
So much to be done
When I am forty four
When I am fifty five
It’s harder to be alive
My health is going
My age is showing
When I am fifty five
When I am sixty six
So much needs to be fixed
Now moving slow
But still on the go
When I am sixty six
When I am seventy seven
Wondering it there’s a heaven
Though I’m still kicking
The clock is ticking
When I am seventy seven
When I am eighty eight
I know it must be fate
I thought I’d be gone
Though happy to linger on
When I am eighty eight
When I am ninety nine
My, that’s a very long time!
I must have lived right
Still putting up a fight
When I am ninety nine
When I was one hundred and three
A funny thing happened to me
I passed on,
My life was done
When I was one hundred and three!
