The Best Time to Die

The best time to die is when you have done everything you have ever wanted to do; when you have achieved all that you wanted to achieve; when you have loved and been loved by every woman or man you have ever wanted; when you have reached your Ithaka* and have taken the time to appreciate all the treasures the journey there has bestowed upon you.
The best time to die is when you are content with all that you have, and all that you have done, and the worst time to die is when you still have things to do and the tree of regret is not released of all its tainted fruit and its leaves have yet to be blown away by the wind.
So, while you can, face your fears, seek out adventure and fill your days with endeavour while touching all those you meet upon your journey with love and kindness. And then one day, when the time is right for you, as it is for all living things, you will have no fear, you will die in peace and continue your journey beyond this earthly realm.

What wonderful words spoken
What wonderful words spoken here in this writing. I'm in total agreement and many should read and savour.
