We arrive with nothing, we leave with nothing. What we gather unto ourselves in between is worthless, except for the love we create and the love we leave behind. Yet in time even that will fade. In our arrogance we forget, we are only dust, carried on the wind. While in our cleverness, we manage to persuade ourselves that we are all different and so we forget we are all made from that same dust. All the time we are carried by the wind, and not even the wind knows why.

When we got the ashes at Lent
When we got the ashes at Lent and the priest annointed our heads with black ashen mark, he'd remind us, 'to dust you will return'. True, but it's the bit in between that counts.
