unless you trilled possession,
in your version of its name.

Beautifully done - thank you. I also love the blackbird's song. There's a dreadful avian flu outbreak here and I haven't seen my garden blackbird for a while. I'm worried about him

Just seen this - beautiful. I loved that it's all in one sentence, speaking directly to the blackbird, you've titled him Bold Blackbird which gives him attitude, the words cinder scented and...well, all the words, in short. And for reminding me of the unbelieveable sound of a blackbird singing.
