Two faces. Both unflinching in their gaze.
One, a girl. Dark and calculating. Cold.
The other, a boy. Eyes, a twisting maze.
She smiles. A smile of calm confidence. Bold.
He waits, unnerved by her flashing eyes.
Made nervous by her wolfs gaze. She hunts him.
Yes, it is clear. Her mouth is full of lies.
Why? Not love for sure. No, perhaps a whim;
A moment of desire to hold some power.
Or, perhaps an urge to feel loved once more;
Feel as perfect as a winter flower.
Perhaps she is locked in an inner war;
To be the hunter or the hunted one.
She chooses. Strikes. The pause of weakness, gone.
