As Lucy looked at her plane ticket for the fourth time, seeing Gate D she walked towards it and sat down on a near chair. She glanced around, seeing a few people. So, at least it won't be that crowded, thank God, she thought. She hadn't want to see much people that day at, no one that could recognize her - especially not her boyfriend, Erick.
Oh god, the night they shared before was orgasmic. Lucy had never felt so loved in her life before that night. It was their first night they had ever spent together, though to her belief, it had also been there last night.
When she woke up in the hotel room, she found it unusually quiet. She threw on a pair of jeans, a sweatshirt and her white slippers. She walked down the stairs to the breakfast room. Getting a glass of orange juice and preparing a bagel, she heard some giggling in the back round.
"Oh stop it." She heard a girl flirtatiously giggle. Then Lucy turned around to look at the couple. She saw it was her friend Leah, with Erick nuzzling her neck. She saw underneath the booth they were at, he had his hand on her knee, and there legs intertwined.
Lucy quietly backed up, leaving the juice and bagel at the table, hoping she wasn't seen. She'd walked up to the room in complete and total shock before she packed up and walked out of the back door.
She put her bag in the back of her car and left towards Alaska Airlines, not long and she'd be gone, not long and she'd be out of this world, back home to saneness. She heard her flight being called over the intercom, boarded the plane, and then went to sleep for the two hours it took her back to great old California.
As she got off the plane, she started walking to where everyone was getting picked up by their families, boyfriends, or drivers. She smiled as she walked to the door, then dropped her bag as she saw him. He stood 6'4" and with his broad shoulders leaned up against his black Ford. Her childhood crush, as handsome as ever, and just a few feet away.
She paused for a second as her blue eyes caught a spark, linking with his dark green eyes. Unbelievable, he was looking gorgeous and she looked like shit. Great going. She walked a few steps toward him.
"Trevor?" She breathed as she dropped her bag, looking like an idiot as she felt a little weak in her knees.
