Some people enthuse
about exotic fruit
but I've got no use
for durian or lychee,
kiwano or persimmon.

What I say to relatives
and friends is "Come on,
forget all superlatives,
stick to the facts
and ignore the myth."

Buddha's Hand Lemon
may have a pith
that's crunchy and sweet
but I prefer the taste
of a Granny Smith.

I also love all kinds of fruit and fruit juice but they say it's loaded with sugar. Must be hard getting fresh fruit there and Europe.

Oh yes, but Granny Smith is a bit bitter Golden Delicious now that's nice and sweet.

Golden Delicious apples are popular, Tom, and Granny Smiths are an acquired taste.

It is also an excellent cooking apple to be used in pies. Yummy!
