Musical Chairs

There's a place
in SW1, where
they're playing 
musical chairs.

Getting a seat
is paramount,
so who cares
of the body count?

One who seemed
serenely drowsy
acted instead
like a kamikaze.

He committed
a cardinal sin;
he didn't know
only fools rush in.

The one in charge
of the record player
claims she's a friend
of the taxpayer.

But it looks as if
cannot decide
whether to play 
the A or the B side.
