The Looking Forward Man

I'm the Looking Forward Man, 

the not looking back man, 

Not really caring 'bout getting older

with my stash of poems in my ancient folder.

I speak for the poor, downtrodden and lame, 

rail against those with undeserved fame, 

I speak for folk in Ukraine and Palestine,

for those affected by war in our time.

A poet of the positive vibes and thoughts,

I make the best of what I've got.

I'm looking forward to a better world

a positive place, where we all can be heard.
