I love the adverts. Years ago, when, nothing could be recorded, from the telly, I had to just enjoy the songs on the adverts, when they came on.

Back then, when I told certain friends’ which songs I loved, they would say to me, “That is indie music.” I’d never heard of indie, that was new to me.

The latest advert that I absolutely love is the Amazon advert. Now I can pause, and rewind over and over again, and when I am on my own, turn the telly up LOUD!

I don’t know or care what genre of music it is; I just love it! I don’t know what the song is called, but the advert is about the, Concrete Jungle, a young woman moving into her own place, in a block of plain looking flats. She then has an idea, and orders, beautiful plants from Amazon.

Hi Maxine, that is a genius advert, I agree, even though it's Amazon, at least garden retailers can now sell through them and have products delivered. I don't know the song but I hear, Pachelbels's Cannon sampled in the background, The Farm also use it on their song, Altogether Now.

It IS a genius advert, I agree. I have never used Amazon, and have heard stories about those who work for them......

it is good that almost anything can be ordered from them, even way up there in those flats.

I will look up those songs that you have mentioned. I've heard of the Farm and love their song Altogether Now.
