Three years ago, a lad was on a motor scooter, with his girlfriend. They were hit by a car and a few days later the boy died, the girl was hurt. This scooter was made for one person, not passengers. The lady that put it on Facebook, knows both teenagers and she wanted them, “Banned.”

Since then, on social media and in real life, I have seen various, types of scooters on the road! I would not even ride a bike on the streets, let alone a scooter.

Just when I thought I had seen everything, I saw something that shocked me this week.

I was in the busy supermarket carpark, and in the past I have seen youths on skateboards, weaving in and out of cars and some on bikes doing wheelies, and with motorbikes, but I saw an adult with a child at the zebra, the adult woman was still waiting to cross, when the child didn’t wait, but with this things she was on. It looked like it had two wheels that lit up as it moved, it then looked like this thing must have had a metal stick connecting it from the back to the front. The child was facing the ground, with her hands held out in front of her.

The child who was only five inches off the ground, went across the zebra crossing, a car sped past her, having not seen her, missing her by inches!

How the woman didn’t scream out, I don’t know! As she waited at the zebra crossing, the child sped on, far from her.

I thought, why would anyone, let a child loose with that mobile toy, at a dangerous, busy car park? The child looked about three years old. I thought at that rate, will she see her fourth?

I don’t know who bought her the toy, but I hope, someone will tell her to either play with it in a park, or give it away.
