Food For Thought.

Now we know when we go to the dentist, everything is nice and clean before it is put into your mouth, for the check up or whatever work that is to be done.
I have been to a chiropodist before, but it has gotten dearer and dearer, so I didn’t go when I usually did.
Work had arranged for a chiropodist, to come to work, so I jumped at the chance, to have my feet done. The price was amazing, dirt cheap.
He saw me last. I asked him, how long have you done this job?” He replied, “Thirteen years,” He went on, “I was off sick from work, and my wife and mother, both chiropodist, they had SO much work, that they had to turn customers away, they had suggested to me, to train and become a chiropodist too, and that is exactly what I did.”
He cut my toe nails, then he used his gentle file, that was whirling around first on my cut nails, then the sole of my feet, as he did that, I thought of all the other people who had been before me, not just those that I work with, but those before he came to my work! It was a sobering thought, and it did make me think, I wonder if I want to use him again, cheap or not cheap. I had to use mind over matter!
He was pleased with the condition of my feet, which was good to hear.
He said, “You need to drink more water,” That was amazing, how he could come to that, conclusion, but he was right, I don’t drink enough water.
I will use him again, when he comes back to our work, because I was very pleased with his work and because of his knowledge.
