He made the catapult
out of twigs he found in his garden
but when he attached the elastic
it all crumbled
like a brownie.

He spent his pocket money
buying a catapult in a joke shop
but the next day had it confiscated
by Mrs Corner.

He decided he would steal one from Nelson
the cliched bully
but was caught and ended up with his head
down the toilet.

In the end he just discarded the middleman
and threw eggs at houses
with his baseball arm.
