The Cat On A Roof

A cat climbed up the water spout and walked upon the roof.

While down below a little dog was going woof woof woof .

The cat looked down at the dog who seemed a little mad

trying catch its little tail the only one it had .

The cat was content on the roof, being a nosey beak ,

she liked to peek at all the goings on down the street .

People in cars caught in the rush and traffic in a jam .

What a crazy world the cat though and how lucky I am

to be up here on a roof with nothing to do all day  .

People were shouting in their cars and horns blasting away  .

The dog gave up chasing its tail and lay down on the street ,

the cat stayed there on the roof until the end of the week.
