 Every Now And Then

I’ll  always remember, they’re hard to forget ,

the beautiful people in life that I met..

We were all so happy then, back in the day,

but I’ve lost few of them along the way .

Sometimes I think of them and whisper their name

and deep in my heart they will always remain.

All the roads we travelled were one and the same

though they won’t be coming back this way again .

The love we shared is something I cherish dear,

somehow it feels as if they’re ever so near.

I always feel at peace when I think of them ,

that’s just how it is,  every now and then .

Every now and  I can still see their face

and feel the gentle touch of their hand in mine,

the warmth of their smile and their loving embrace,

I can almost hear their soft voice on the line

speaking to my heart , every now and then.

Love is more than just a memory of back when ,

they were here ,as love lasts an eternity .

and their love is always forever with me .

For all of us left behind , our lives go on

and love will keep on living , after we’re gone.

Every now and then I can feel the love

and I think of them and I thank God above

for who they were and for the gifts that we shared.

Every now and then

God lets make know they've heard .
