Freeway To The Stars

There a some people who have no interest at all in the stars or what is happening in the firmament above  however most people look up at the stars and think how amazing they are ,then there are the astronomers who study the galaxies and planets in outer space .  

Mr Puddiman was a gifted engineer who not only looked at the stars but was planning to build a freeway to get to them .

Initially the project was called ridiculous and those who once respected him now laughed at the mention of his name . He was tagged Puddiman the madman .

The thing they never really understood was that Mr Puddiman was not your average engineer and to tell you the truth he was not from Planet Earth at all . Mr Puddiman was from Planet Cellic , in a distant galaxy on the third ring of space after Zion . His mission was to come to earth and construct a freeway to the stars . Work had already been completed on all of the anchor planets in our solar system by crews who worked for the Cosmos Construction Company .

The structures were a series of huge pillars that supported a winding road linking each planet . Earth was the last planet to be linked due to it being populated . The freeway was built using four dimensional  concrete . This was a product that was the product designed by scientists on Planet Celli . It had the ability to absorb all kinds of temperatures . It was built for interstellar travel and had tollways that required tokens which would become available to all who wanted to travel around the stars . The project was almost in its final stage now and Mr Puddiman had now received communication from a small underground city in the middle of the Gobi desert .

This was were a large number of construction workers from Planet Cellic were living It was almost time for the huge pillars to rise up from their footings deep below the desert and link up with the ending freeway sections that would soon be descending down from the sky . The entire freeway was an enclosed structure with oxygen and   controlled temperature settings . On the freeway there would be shops , hotels and resorts as well as many other places of interest for passengers who would be using the freeway to the stars .

Now was the time for Mr Puddiman to make an announcement to the world what would be taking place . From his office he first switched off all of the communication transmitters around the earth and locked in the universal code of the cosmos that was able to override all frequencies . Then he went to air all over the planet using a highly complex  communication device that translated every single language that was spoken in whatever region of country where it was broadcast .

People of the world were shocked as soon as Mr Puddiman informed them about the new freeway to the stars . The broadcast provided a visual of the freeway after its completion . There was information on the coat of using the freeway and some information about the residents of Planet Celli .

It was all in the timing as a live cross to the Gobi desert showed the pillars emerging from deep under the desert . Then from the sky huge spacecraft descended carrying huge sheafs of concrete that slotted over the pillars . Instantly work crews began pouring the concrete from pumps that were mounted on the side of all the  spacecrafts that had arrived . In seconds the set leaving a spiral like ascending freeway that went up from the ground to the sky above .

Mr Puddiman then announced after the construction was finished all of the work crews would be returning to Planet Celli . Mr Puddiman spoke on an open broadcast to every Government leader on the planet and assured them that the freeway was safe to use and that no harm would come to anybody who travelled to and from the stars .

Life changed on earth after that day  and everyone finally knew that we were not alone in the universe . Interstellar transport was provided for all the passengers who wanted to use the freeway which was super fast  and comfortable .

All of the people who called Mr Puddiman a madman were now convicted into silence . People from planet earth now had the ability to  escape to the stars .

Slowly but surely everybody on earth was getting used to seeing places they had never dreamt existed .

It was the year 3030 and life was just beginning in the cosmos .
