Friday Karaoke In The City

Somewhere between Dublin and Sydney there’s a wee pub ,
where you can sing all night in the karaoke club .
It’s a friday night and there’s a good crowd in this place .
There’s laughter everywhere and a smile on every face .

Singing karaoke in a Aussie smoky bar

with a mic in one hand doing whiskey in the jar .
There were plenty waiting to sing on a Friday night

with Twilight Time karaoke that made us feel all right .

People wandered in with a notion they’d like to sing

and sit and have a drink then see what the night would bring .
Everyone was happy , in a pub with lots of beer ,

karaoke in the city that we love so dear

Had to read these. I also run karaoke around the local pubs. And we have a full set up at home with lights and instruments and we have some cracking party nights. I love it. My favourite song to sing at the moment (managed to find a Karaoke copy) is Symphony in Blue by Kate Bush. 

Loved this, Paul. You really captured the vibe.

Lovely to get this comment . We have been doing karaoke for 10 years in pubs and clubs  nursing homes , bowling alleys , private gigs and love what happens .

There is nothing better at a party . We had these unique machines called Videoke that we use as well as the Party box set up also have the magic sing devices . 
Recently we have been doing local markets here . Funny thing how karaoke brings young and old people to the mic wanting to sing .
