Heavens Way

I’m waiting for the sunset

with another glass to fill ,

sitting here in the half light

and the evening now is still .

The silent sky is grieving

as the sunshine says goodbye ,

it’s the night before tomorrow

and the moon’s in the sky

Adjusting to the seasons

that arrive in their own time,

between the black and the white

there are shades of grey to find

All the colours that you bring

are with me every day

In life there are many things

and I call it heavens way .

The golden stars are shinning

in the universe out there

There’s a light In the darkness ,

that is known as heavens way

Nothing can withstand heavens way

Like the love I have for you everyday.
