Distant Love

My love she’s in a another place ,

 over the sea she has crossed

Its not as if our love has gone

but somehow I feel so lost .

She was always there right by my side,

never once had we fought.

It’s so hard without here,

she’s in my heart and every thought .

My distant love is far away ,

 there’s so much  I cannot say ,

but somehow in the silence,

love tells me everything's ok .

It just seems unfair the distance there ,

that separates us two

I’m building a bridge between our hearts.

to tell her , I love you .

Like an echo her voice returns to me

from another shore ,

It won’t be long until we’re .

together like we were before .
