Queenio’s Lost Ball

Queenio she had lost her ball , just the other day ,

when the children went running , round on the street at play

She asked the king on his throne have a look and see .

if somebody could return her ball immediately ;

A reward for its return was paid at such a cost  

 a thousand balls came back for the one that she had lost .

So the Jester came juggling, different Balls everyday

To entertain the thought of what the King had to pay .

He said Queenio , Queenio now whose got the ball ,

because I gave a hundred pots of gold for them all .

I don’t mean to be mean my Queen you know what I mean

but the ball that you had lost it has never been seen .
