Rangers Ups And Downs

The jury is out ,there can be no doubt ,
Rangers have been relegated .
There’s a kind of lull and the sky is dull ,
for the blues have been down grated
There’s no doubt today where Rangers will play ,
there’ll be blood on the boil for sure .
They’ll fight to get back ,
with the premier pack ,
until then they’ll have to endure .

A kick in the guts ,footballs uppercuts ,
it’s a hard game that Rangers play .

Heads clash ,
tempers fly ,
don’t let them get by .
Give them no rest that’s what I say .

Football is a game full of joy and pain
and results can be cruel sometimes .
They’ll fight for the ball .
They’re in boots and all ,
up the ladder Gers slowly climbs

The imposition of third division ,
as overhead the rain pours down .
There’s games to arrange on grounds a bit strange
and names mean nothing in this town .
With the ups and downs ,
there’ll be smiles and frowns .
They say , there’s no gain without pain .
If you pull one out like a pint of stout ,
the cream comes to the top again .
