What Makes Me Miss You Most

Since you went away on your holiday

Some things came to mind .

It seems so many things have gone missing and are hard to find .

There are things that have gone missing that I need everyday .

I’m miss all my towels and don’t know where you’ve put them away

I miss having my clothes folded neatly and the things I need .

I’m miss the way you tell me to slow down when ever I speed .

I miss watching the clinical way you keep the house germ free .

I miss how at the end of each day we would pray silently .

It’s just all the little things that I miss since we said goodbye .

Like making you a coffee as you hang the clothes up to dry .

it’s not the same here without you, the house is just not a home .

I miss giving you a hug and watching you talk on your phone .

In the time you’ve been away I have done as much as I can take .

I miss taking you shopping and the little lists we would make .

I miss the way we work so hard together in the workshop .

Little things mean a lot and for me they’re everything we’ve got .
