Mind On Fire Pt.1

A was set alight,

By the whirlwind which had swept up my life,

Which had shattered my view,

Which overturned my thoughts,

Which tore myself to shreds

And most importantly,

Ate the rationality of my home-head

(I live alone in my head.)

But it was me

Who burned the bridge between you and me.

At first because I thought you were going to worry.

But you,

Who got angry,

Became a furious foe,

So I became certain that I should fight this alone.

I tried to stomp them out,

But they unbalanced me under my foot.

So I left them to grow,

Choking my mind with ash and soot.
