Sunlight

sunlight splashes dash my page

lightening these words i lay

but still i'm trapped inside this cage

my edges start to fray

he hasn't written but is he near

he leaves me hanging

alone with this fear

i cry out in pain

that nobody hears

thinking of his words

that could bring me to tears

empty moments fill my mind

questions with answers

still yet to find

will he accept it

can we move on..

or will he turn away

pretending to be strong
