Such poise in any situtation,
However difficult,
Ignoring the dog at your leg,
A social cliff-edge.
Believing is Seeing,
A very British trait,
Eyes straight ahead
And stride on.
There is no harm if
You ignore it.
Maybe.

Do you mean 'poise' vice 'pose' in line 1? Or 'composure', perhaps? I like the poem with 'maybe' and without: but it is definitely two different poems, depending on which choice you make.

The "maybe" is there because of the nature of possibility within a Tarot reading.
