Is this the girl to whom I’ve been talking? 

She seems real but she could be stalking

People on the internet and be a catfish

To hear your voice would be my first wish

To video chat would then be fantastic

Are you a person? Or are you plastic?

For you to be real I’m now a bit skeptical

Are you trying to make of me a spectacle?

I wonder if online dating is a tragedy

Waiting to happen to all those vulnerable

Who find meeting people hard and insufferable

Because we are ashamed of our body image

And a relationship we dare not envisage

Our soul mate we will meet someday

And on that day our pulse will be racing
