ARMOR

a knight, engaged in battle
was protected, head to toe
in sheets of heavy metal
that conformed to him, just so
.
but if that man was jostled
and he fell into a creek
the heavy weight would drag him down
until his breath grew weak
.
we wear protective armor
when we find we're waging war
but when we're safe at home
we should just leave it at the door
.
though wise to be suspicious
you must cherish times of peace
remove that heavy armor
and let all your tension cease
