i wish i was in showbiz

drinking wine and eating quiche

where barbie dolls did cattle calls

and pets were on a leash

i wish i was in dixie

just a-fishin' in a lake

where barbie dolls wore overalls

and pets turned into steak

i wish i was in heaven

in a house right next to yours

where barbie dolls went to the malls

and pets got pedicures

alas, i'm stuck in prison

where they have me locked up tight

where barbie dolls get into brawls

and pets are apt to bite
