Now Alvin...this is a poem I can totally relate to. I always had lmaginary friends as a child, the nice thing about them is, that you're never alone as you've already said. This is one of my favourites of yours, so thank you for sharing. Jenny.

This brought memories back., with your usual tight rollicking rhythm too!
I can remember being annoyed when my parents pestered me as to where (?can't remember the name I gave her) lived, and I pointed to a house we passed regularly. They said they were going to knock on her door, and I hastily said she'd just emigrated to Australia, I think. But it left me feeling very peeved, but must I think have been an age where I was really drifitng from a 'need' for her! Rhiannon
