love cannot distinguish

what is dusk and what is dawn

it only sees the beauty

that its eyes have perched upon

love knows not, the seasons

in a circle running free

for it lives in the center

where it's always meant to be

love respects no system

that will regulate its swell

the world stripped bare of calendars

appointment books as well

love, for all its knowledge

never knows the time of day

the future being nourished

as the past slips far away
