we now give thanks to maia

who bestowed fertility

to not just plants, but children too

into infinity

a time for all to blossom

with a nurturing, divine

the grapes that graced the vineyards

resurrected into wine

so comfortable in temperature

the weather, soft and mild

to bless the growth of plants on earth

as well as every child
