may you chase the shadows, dark
may you never make appointments
only do things on a lark

may you never grow too blue
i wish i was with you tonight
perhaps as well, may you

may i be right beside you ?
may i hear your inner thoughts ?
may i listen to your heart beat 
and connect your dot to dots ?

may i become your confidante ?
may i become the guy
that shares with you a special bond ?
i ask you please, may i ?
.
may we spend time together 
may we complete the whole 
may we speak secret languages
that only we control
.
may we become united
may we become more free
though others just pretend to love
in love, no doubt, are we
