the clocks have turned to stone
so there is tick but never tock
you left me all alone
so it is always sad o' clock
now time is off my hands
i find my future's turned to rock
i live in never land
where it is always sad o' clock
the pendulum is still
it seems the past can only mock
no hour glass to fill
so it is always sad o' clock
the sands of time are dust
it seems my heart's a chain and lock
my eyes are wet with rust
cause it is always sad o' clock
my car won't leave the curb
i find my boat can't leave the dock
my frown can't be disturbed
for it is always sad o' clock
the calendar just lies
it is an enemy who'll stalk
the sun will never rise
when it is always sad o' clock

Liked the construction of this Alvin, and the content, like most of your poems, I can see this being read out loud to a pub full of people.
