in a theater one night
expectancy, gigantic
as they held each other tight
.
and when the film was over
they retired to a cafe
to talk about the movie
over cheese and cabernet
.
she said she was enchanted
by the love tween jack and rose
he said he got excited
when she took off all her clothes
.
she said jack was a hero
who took pains to get rose through
he mentioned just how freaky
was his frozen face of blue
.
she said she loved the beauty
and the glamour of the ship
he said he liked the mayhem
as the iceberg made its rip
.
the story of the necklace
made her heart go out to rose
but he was just reminded
what she looked like with no clothes
.

though they started, holding tight
that ship was not the only thing
that fell apart that night
