TWO HUMAN HEARTS

oh sure, a single human heart
will fill a body's need
if blood pumps through the arteries
to everywhere they lead

but humans need much more than blood
that through that body's shoved
what good does that blood really do
if no one else is loved

the joining of two human hearts
creates the perfect shape
that holds those two together
so that love cannot escape

so give your heart to me, my love
and i will give you mine
the combination of the two
are perfect in design
