The Wedding Day

It starts with commotion,
every single emotion;
rushing around, getting ready,
this is the day when you become more than just steady;
the rest of your life, in front of your eyes,
swearing on god that there will be no more lies;
the bride comes out and her carridge awaits,
everything is perfect for this one special date;
the church is full of family and friends,
all problems come to an end;
the journey is nervous the bride is on her way,
worried how it will go, this one special day;
she turns up, the music comes on,
walking down the isle to that chosen song;
the groom looks back at his one true love,
she looks amazing like the skys above;
they say their vows, honour to each other,
that there will be no-one, not another;
they celebrate and drink to happiness and joy,
smiles all around, especially from their little boy;
life is now great, full of laughter,
this will go on for a happy ever after.
