He had been sobbing for 5 minutes in front of the counsellor, crying uncontrollably, the counsellor felt helpless, and rightly so. The boy looked up at him and said two words: “I’m broken”. The problem was that the boy had built a structure high up in his mind, and at the first doubt, the structure fell immediately. From a man, who had everything under control, he had become a boy, looking for his mother for guidance. He had lost the big picture, he had died inside. Back in his room, he looked outside the window And saw the roof, and thought: “I wonder if that fall would kill me, I wonder if I’d care, I wonder if anyone would” He got up from his chair, and started walking, but on his way, his phone rang. He had just got home from meeting his friend, he hadn’t given any hint that he wasn’t alright at all, he had only told the counsellor, who was one of many who didn’t understand him. “Don’t do anything stupid”, the message said. The boy stopped, and thought, maybe, maybe, new structures can replace the old ones.
