Mo; and everything was go,
All you; had to do was go with the flow,
Just days; until it went upside down,
Right now; got to get rid of this frown.
Christmas time; and it was all fine,
At the table; with Turkey dinner and wine,
Hours after; we had had the presents time,
Early morning; drinking Brandy which was fine.
The whole; family would be there,
My brother; we'd be drinking beer,
Having a laugh; just like every year,
But now, it seems so far from here.
Post Mo; and it all seemed to go,
No decorations; for Christmas would be shown,
The traditions; had even seemed to go,
This year; even Terry's Chocolate Orange was a no show.
Now all; gone in our own separate ways,
The Red Lion; just sat there in a daze,
Thinking of K; with his new family Christmas Day,
And my Dad; hopefully this year was just a phase.
Christmas time; now seems to have gone downhill,
Go on then; go get me that magic pill,
And then; I may let you call me Phil,
Next Christmas; you know it will be uphill.
Decorations around; for Mo to be proud,
A Terry's; you know would be sound,
And the family; with a table we'd all be around,
Altogether, if it could happen we'd be bound.
