She's sleeping soundly on this Christmas night,
The snow is falling in the dwindling light.
A face of innocence, a child with no cares,
Dreams of Santa and presents and teddy bears.
No one knows what her future holds,
The lessons she'll learn or what will unfold.
For now the light shines on her sweet face,
She's snug and warm in a happy place.
Outside the sky darkens and the pavement is white,
All sighns of life are out of sight.
Before she knows Christmas morning will come,
A day full of joy, glad tidings and fun.

Wait for Hallowe'en, then
Wait for Hallowe'en, then Bonfire Night!
6th November should be the earliest we speak of Christmas!
You don't punctuate, except for those rather odd two commas... if you're going to use some, why not do the job properly? It would make sense of your poetry!

This WAS and IS worth reading and Don't dare stop writing or become discouraged because I sense you have hell of a lot to say and I am really impressed by what you have written so far,Punctuation can be corrected always,Mine is dreadful if it's any consolation!
I am waiting and hoping you gonna write some more stuff soon,in the meantime can I find "Insight"mag on the net October?(Writing stuff down really helps October,It's theraputic.)
Take care.x
