Another grey day
Color all the days this way
The sin of having too little faith
Will forever be my downfall
No yellow in my world
Only a red as blistering as the river of blood
Flowing freely from my wrists
This pain blinds
I crave the undeniable freedom of open air
This cage is unbecoming
The wild fire rages around me
I am an island in this sea of hurt
My saving grace is in the lies I weave
In the storms I have weathered
The silent rain that endlessly falls
Drenching my body in waves of crimson
This pain blinds
Unintelligible words murmured in the night
A desire for something I have never known
The inescapable feeling of being ordinary
Yet different
This pain blinds.

This is about a person
This is about a person wracked with pain. This you portray very clearly. I hope it is not too close to home?
keep truckin'
