Soon fades the echo of winters chill
her nymph like reflection gently softens
Trumpets of yellow blush herald in
the delightful ballet of the daffodil
Her extraordinary beauty renews
as a symphony upon the land
This masterpiece upon the river banks
from Mother Nature’s trusted hand
Warmed tenderly by the devoted sun
her spring fragrance we can indulge
This graceful flower of yellow gold
Springs sweet illumination to behold

Round, grand iambs with a strong finishing couplet. Your rhyme is nicely hidden and unforced. An enjoyable ode to the oft forgotten daff.
