This wild Woman of Wonga
sorceress of dark ages
witch with a thousand nipples
vengeful goddess of mythology -
this bitch stalks, arms flailing
vicious vixen of a scarecrow.
I have repeatedly burnt her.

She is no brave Joan of Arc -
instead she mixes her potions of illogical terrors
knowing an antidote cannot be found in the woods.
Her banishment is impossible
as she is slippery in hiding.

Her appearance often takes me unawares -
her face, my face,
she is the me in disguise.
